Floyd Mayweather Jr. gifted $30,000 cash to several homeless men on a Los Angeles street before attending an NBA Playoffs game on Wednesday.

Mayweather was spotted on U.S. soil for the first time since he was reportedly detained by the Dubai court system for an unpaid debt that he owed.

The 47-year-old retired boxing champion left the L.A. Ritz-Carlton Hotel heading to the Crypto.com Arena to attend Game 5 of the Clippers vs Mavericks series.

According to DailyMail.com, Mayweather bumped into several homeless men who asked him to help them out. The generous businessman reached into his backpack and “blessed each guy with ten racks.”

A “rack” is street slang for $1,000.

“I don’t want to show my face, but [Floyd] just gave us $30,000,” one of the homeless men said, according to TMZ Sports.

“We do not want to get robbed. We will go find a motel,” another homeless man said.

Mayweather reportedly spent the past 5 weeks holed up in a house in Dubai after the court system there refused to let him leave.

According to reports, Mayweather was detained because he owed a substantial amount of money to the government.

Mayweather was mocked by fellow boxer Gervonta “Tank” Davis, who first broke the news of Mayweather’s detainment in Dubai.
