TikTok CEO Shou Chew responded to President Biden signing a bill banning the hugely popular app.

The measure is part of a $95 billion Ukraine aid package that Biden signed into law on Wednesday.

The Biden re-election campaign will continue to post campaign videos on TikTok, despite Biden signing the bill.

On Tuesday, the U.S. Senate voted to force the sale of TikTok, or ban the app in 9 months if it isn’t sold.

In a TikTok video posted on Wednesday, Chew assured TikTok users that ByteDance, the app’s Beijing-based parent company, will not sell the app.

“Make no mistake, this is a ban – a ban on TikTok, and a ban on you and YOUR voice,” Chew said in the 2-minute video. “Politicians may say otherwise, but don’t get confused. Many who sponsored the bill admit banning TikTok is their ultimate goal.”

“Rest assured, we aren’t going anywhere,” Chew added. “We are confident and we will keep fighting for your rights in the courts. The facts and the Constitution are on our side, and we expect to prevail again.”

In 2020, a federal judge blocked an attempt by then-President Donald Trump to ban TikTok in the U.S.

In November, another federal judge blocked a law in Montana that threatened to ban TikTok in the state.

Rapper Soulja Boy was among those voicing support for TikTok. The jokester offered to buy TikTok. “How much yall want for TikTok? I’ll buy it,” he tweeted on Wednesday.
