A delivery driver watched helplessly as thieves ransacked her Amazon delivery truck and made off with customers’ packages.

The incident happened near Atlanta, Ga. on Monday, Nov. 13.

Police say about six teenagers swarmed the truck after the driver left to deliver a package.

Cell phone video shows the Amazon truck parked in an apartment complex near Atlanta. The driver secured the truck before she left, but when she returned, the thieves had broken in.

Three of the thieves jumped out through the front door by the driver’s seat, while others are seen jumping out of the back of the truck with boxes.

One teenager dropped a package that was apparently too heavy for him to carry. The driver, a Black female, watched as the thieves raided her Amazon truck.

At one point, the driver said something to them, but it’s difficult to hear what she said.

The thieves live in the apartment complex. No arrests have been made.

Crime has spiraled out of control in Atlanta since the COVID lockdowns sparked an exodus of outsiders from other cities. Atlanta was their destination because the Peach City was not locked down, thanks to Republican Gov. Brian Kemp.

Atlanta is now unrecognizable. Gang members and other young criminals have taken over Atlanta’s streets.

Amazon and other package services won’t deliver to certain neighborhoods in Atlanta due to the high crime.

This latest incident happened as Amazon drivers are increasingly under pressure to complete deliveries in a certain time period.

Amazon drivers are independent subcontractors working for a third party, which means they don’t directly work for Amazon.
