Jonathan Majors broke down in tears during his first interview since a Manhattan jury found him guilty of assaulting his ex-girlfriend.

Majors sat for an exclusive interview with ABC News Anchor Linsey Davis on Disney-owned ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Monday, Jan. 8.

The full interview will air on “Impact x Nightline” exclusively on Hulu Thursday, Jan. 11.

“I have never hit a woman. I have never struck a woman,” Majors said, adding that he was “shocked” by the guilty verdict.

“I was absolutely shocked and afraid. I am standing there… I say ‘how is that possible? Based off the evidence, based off the prosecution’s evidence, how is that possible?’”

Majors insists he doesn’t know how ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari sustained her injuries back in March.

“I wish to God I knew. That would give me some clarity, some type of peace about it.”

Majors complained that no one questioned why a white woman was chasing him down the street in New York City.

“If you watch those videos and you reverse that, and you saw a Black man chasing a young white girl down the street, screaming and crying, that man is gonna be shot and killed in the streets of New York City.”

He continued: “That Black man will feel that.”

Majors explained why he berated Jabbari in audio recordings, telling her she should support him like Michelle Obama and Coretta Scott King supported their famous husbands.

“It was me trying to give an analogy of what it is I’m aspiring to be, and trying to give a reference point to that,” he told Davis.

“I need [a woman] to make the same sacrifices I am making,” he added.

Majors gushed over current girlfriend Meagan Good who supported him during his emotional interview on Monday.

Good has stayed by his side, despite the allegations that she is simply providing damage control services for a fee.

Majors said Good is the Godly woman he has been searching for.

“She is an angel… she has held me down like… I am so blessed to have her. The relationship is still fresh… but I think I found her,” he said.

When Davis asked “Do you think you’ll ever work in Hollywood again?”, the disgraced actor said he is confident he will work again, and he deserves a second chance.

Majors, 34, was arrested and charged with assaulting Jabbari on March 25. After months of denials and counter accusations, his trial began in December. He was convicted on Dec 18 on a single charge of assault and harassment.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled for February 6. Majors faces a maximum of 1 year in jail.
