R&B group Diddy-Dirty Money is coming out of retirement on Sean “Puffy” Combs’ new album, The Love Album: Off The Grid.

Dirty Money members Dawn Richard and Kalenna Harper parted ways with Combs in 2012. The singer/songwriters were already signed to Combs’ Bad Boy Entertainment when he pitched the idea to them for an R&B trio.

The group was formed in 2009 and had success with their album, Last Train to Paris in December 2010.

The Nubian queens were visually appealing and fans couldn’t get enough of them! But the group split up due to constant internal conflicts and public misperceptions.

Richard told Billboard at the time, “What we did with Dirty Money was phenomenal. Yet, it was misunderstood. Something that was simplistic and manufactured was successful [while] something that was brilliant and iconic, [people] didn’t get it.”

When asked about the Diddy-Dirty Money breakup, the former Danity Kane member said, “It died out. I think Puff was tired. He had so many different things going on. I think he wanted to produce and act a little bit more. Sometimes you don’t have a choice. If we would have wanted to continue, and he couldn’t do it, then there’d be no sense in it. It’s his project so you just have to take it.”

In addition to Dirty Money, the album’s star-studded lineup includes Mary J. Blige, H.E.R., Jazmine Sullivan, Justin Bieber, Summer Walker, Babyface, John Legend, Teyana Taylor, Coco Jones, Kehlani, Ty Dolla $ign, K-Ci Hailey, Burna Boy, The-Dream, The Weeknd, 21 Savage, French Montana, Jozzy, and more.

The album drops on all streaming platforms on Sept. 15.
