Police Called to Willy Wonka Chocolate ‘Nightmare’ for Kids

The police were called to the Willy Wonka Experience, which the organizers shut down after parents and children complained.

The “Wonka Chocolate Experience” turned out to be a nightmare. Parents paid $40 for each child to attend the Willy Wonka Chocolate Experience. They were shocked to discover that the online images of candy canes and chocolate waterfalls were AI-generated.

When parents and children showed up, they found a nearly empty warehouse with plastic flowers and pictures thrown on the walls.

19-year-old Eva Stewart posted photos of the warehouse online. She said it took her 5 minutes to walk through. But organizers promised a 45-minute experience.

Police were called to the scene after families demanded refunds for their crying children.

On the website, the organizers promised an “immersive event” for children which included an “Imaginary Lab,” an “Enchanted Garden” and a “Twilight Tunnel.”

The children were promised live performances and a “visual feast in every room.”

But instead of a chocolate feast, the children were handed a cup of lemonade and jelly beans.

A cell phone image of the Imaginary Lab is going viral online. The image shows an uninspired worker dressed as an Oompa-Loompa wearing a green wig.

One cast member told The Independent that the script provided was “15 pages of AI-generated gibberish” and required him to say “mad things.”

The Oompa-Loompa worker told Vulture that she found the job on Indeed.com.

“It was listed on Indeed. I don’t normally get my acting jobs through Indeed, but I just thought, all right. To be honest, I was a wee bit skeptical, because it was not through an agency. They were offering £500 for two days of work, so I decided to go.”

The organizers promised refunds at the point of purchase.
